Pistol Coaching at East Grinstead TSC
If any Club members would like some pistol coaching then Jim Newsome, our ISSF qualified pistol coach, will be delighted to accommodate them.
The later sessions were over subscribed. Additional sessions will be arranged for those that could not be accomodated.
Outdoor Training Session
Never shot outside? Unsure about the longer distances?
Following the success of last years event the club coaches will be running an outdoor (50m & 100yd) training session on Saturday 23 Mar 2019 (2 weeks before our open shoot). The session will start at about 1pm.
These session are open to all (Members and non-members) and will primarily be for shooters who are new to outdoor shooting - either complete novice or less experienced shooter, and will be a group session rather than individual coaching.
More experienced shooters will of course be welcome to use the session as a refresher.
Cost will be £10 per person. If you subsequently enter the open shoot you will qualify for a £5 discount on the entry fee.
Cost includes targets and backers. You will need to provide your own ammunition.
The session will be in the afternoon and start after morning shooting has finished at about 1pm. Tea and coffee will be available but you will need to bring your own lunch. The sessions will last for about 3 hours.
If you use a club rifle you will need a letter from your club FAC holder authorising you to carry the rifle to and from the event; We can provide a template letter for this if necessary. If you have a problem transporting a club rifle we can probably fit you up with one of ours for the occasion.
If you or any members of your club are interested, please email Mike Kettle so we have an idea of numbers attending.
