The sun shone for most of the weekend, the rain stayed away but the wind remained as tricky as ever! Especially as the new ISSF compliant wind flags seem to be a bit friskier than our old flags which people had gotten used to.

With a low entry of only 23 competitors it good to see we still attract shooters from a fair distance! The record for distance travelled this year went to Hannah Crosby who flew back to Heathrow after the Scotland v England W6N rugby match in order to get back in time for the competition! As she was supporting Scotland I'm not sure that she appreciated that the England team were on the same flight! Second places go to Jonathan Wood and Stewart Larter-Witcher who travelled very similar distances from Swaffham and Witchampton.
